The County Executive signed Bill 25-22, the 'No Net Loss of Forest' Amendment to the Forest Conservation Law, into law on Monday April 3, 2023. The amendments will apply to all FCP applications and FCP exemption applications submitted on or after April 3, 2023.
It can take several weeks or months for the county code in American Legal to be updated. In the meantime, please see the links at the top of Montgomery Planning’s Environment webpage to refer to the amendments in Bill 25-22, the February 22, 2021 version of Forest Conservation Law, and the June 15, 2021 version of the Forest Conservation Regulations.
