2025 Bike Tour Bye Year
Though we love gathering to ride the Rustic Roads of the Reserve each Fall for the Ride for the Reserve Bike Tour, this ever larger event is not a possibility this year for our extraordinarily busy staff. We will reapproach having the ride in the future but this year we are cooking up a smaller event - a Community Share -Along! Save the date of October 12 to join us for a potluck with info session, songs, stories and joyful community spirit.

The Agricultural Reserve is 93,000 acres of farmland and parkland set aside by Montgomery County back in the 80s to protect rapidly dwindling farmland. Montgomery Countryside Alliance is the small (but Mighty!) nonprofit that helps these farms on Metro's edge endure despite intense development pressure.
Every minute 3 acres of farmland is lost in America - the Ag Reserve is our chance to beat the trend
in Montgomery County - with your help.

MCA is known as an effective and innovative non-profit whose efforts to preserve and promote Montgomery County’s nationally recognized 93,000 acre Ag Reserve have brought increased public and governmental support of local food production and farmland and open space preservation. Most importantly, MCA’s efforts are putting more farmers on the ground and keeping them there.
